Getting new clients is tough.

And if my recent poll is any indication, 77% of you are feeling the struggle.

But let me share something with you...

There's no secret recipe or magic wand that will instantly draw clients to you.

It takes time, effort, and a focused approach.

However, the process doesn't need to be complicated - in fact, it's often the simplest methods that prove most effective.


Here are some battle-tested ways to get new clients:

  1. Nail Your Niche: Define your specific area of expertise. This step alone will make your marketing, sales, and delivery much easier.

  2. Nail Your Offer: Your offer should not just list out your services but should be packaged as the perfect solution to a specific problem your target audience faces.

  3. Showcase Success: Nothing speaks louder than success. Share your case studies and testimonials.

    Best to get a video testimonial that you can then share on your website, social media and transcribe for quotes. Here's an example

  4. Content Marketing: Generate valuable content that addresses your target audience's pain points. Remember, this is a long-term game.

    It takes a bit of preparation in the beginning, but once you get it going, it is an unstoppable marketing force.

  5. Leverage LinkedIn: This platform is a goldmine. Regular posts, thoughtful engagement - don't use AI, and direct outreach can work wonders.

  6. Networking & Partnerships: Connect with non-competing businesses that serve the same target market.

    Pro Tip: Find bigger businesses that don't want to work with the size of clients you work with.
  7. Email Marketing: Build an email list and keep the conversation going.

  8. Paid Advertising: Invest in targeted ads on platforms frequented by your potential clients. The results can be controlled and scaled to your liking.

  9. Referral Programs: Incentivize your clients to bring in others who can benefit from your services.

    Pro Tip: Follow the 4-steps formula:
    1) Be proactive in asking for the referral,
    2) Help them help you by preparing materials/information they can share,
    3) Incentivize them,
    4) Follow-up
