Here's how to pull it off. I used the same steps to build a 6-figure group consulting program:

Step 1: Map Your Skills and Results

  • Action: Identify your strengths, skills, and areas of expertise. Reflect on past experiences, hobbies, or professional skills that can be monetized.
  • Advice: Make a list of all your skills and the results they have achieved (either for yourself or others). This could be anything from graphic design to baking.

Step 2: Create a Framework to Follow

  • Action: Develop a step-by-step method or framework based on your skills that others can follow to achieve similar results.
  • Advice: Structure your knowledge into a clear, teachable format. This could be a series of steps, tips, or guidelines.

Step 3: Package Your Framework

  • Action: Turn your framework into a product, like an ebook or a consulting package.
  • Advice: Decide the format that best suits your audience and content – an ebook for self-study or a consulting package for more personalized guidance.

Step 4: Offer Free Guides/Consultations

  • Action: Offer free guides/consultations, guiding 5 people through your framework
  • Advice: Use these free offerings to attract potential customers and demonstrate the value of your full product, and to gather social proof (see next step).

Step 5: Gather Social Proof

  • Action: Collect testimonials, feedback, and insights from those who have benefited from your free offerings.
  • Advice: Ask for video testimonials or written reviews that clearly state the benefits and results achieved.

Step 6: Create a Landing Page

  • Action: Use Carrd to develop a simple, effective landing page for your product with a payment gateway like Stripe.
  • Advice: Ensure your landing page highlights the benefits of your product, includes testimonials, and makes the purchasing process straightforward.

Step 7: Create Content to Drive Traffic

  • Action: Produce engaging content (blogs, videos, social media posts) related to your product to drive traffic to your landing page. Focus on one platform - for example LinkedIn
  • Advice: Focus on content that addresses common questions or issues your target audience might have, and link back to your landing page.

Step 8: Collect Payments and Deliver Results

  • Action: Ensure a smooth transaction process and deliver your product or service as promised.
  • Advice: Be prompt in your delivery and maintain quality to build trust and encourage referrals.

Step 9: Scale by Adding Another Product

  • Action: Develop and introduce a new product that complements your initial offering.
  • Advice: Consider feedback and market demand to create a product that meets your audience's evolving needs.

Step 10: Rinse & Repeat

  • Action: Apply the lessons learned from your first product to refine and improve your process.
  • Advice: Continuously adapt and expand your offerings, using customer feedback and market trends to guide your strategy.
